Art Teacher at Step-by-Step School, Noida (Delhi NCR), India.

March 2014 to date.

SBS is an International school in the National Capital region, which offers the national curriculum and the IGCSE and IBDP program of learning and has been rated as one of the leading schools amongst the best school in the NCR. It is an outstanding school and center of excellence in the region.

Key responsibilities:

• Middle school –Teaching Art and Sculpture to 11 - 13 years.

• Senior School – Teaching Photography (Analogue and Digital), Art and Sculpture to 14 - 18 years.

• IGCSE – Teaching IGCSE Art & Design to 14 – 16 years. The Exam results are quite amazing, all my students achieved A and A*. Art is a very popular subject in our school, most of my students who take art as WE decide to continue with the same at IGCSE and IBDP.

• In WE photography, dark room practice is a significant part in students learning. Set up a complete dark room and studio in the school premises.

• In sculpture carving was one of the great successful topic. Give an understanding of different mediums and children carved in wood, Plaster and soaps.

• Creating learning videos for the CLT, Editing all the footages with iMovie and Adobe Premier Pro.

• Put together the SBS dream team, which consists of budding photographers from the student community. As their teacher mentor I have been guiding them to capture the candid moments of different events and school form evening. Later guide them to use Adobe Light room and Photoshop for photo editing. As a part of the CAS program children volunteered to be a part of the rehabilitation project called SAHYOG for the flood victim, Children are creating a complete video documentary of it.  

• Using technology as a key tool for Art, creating huge video installation called video mapping and Stop Motions, techno art classes and many.

• Creating numerous videos of visual art learning and experimentations during my class. Kindly visit my online portfolio for a better understanding of my work.

Achievement:

• National winner of International schools video competition 2014 “Advance Australia”. There were more than 150 schools participated from all over India. Our team of 2 students won 1st position all over India and along with myself went to Bond University, Australia as a reward trip.

• Our School team won the 1st prize in the video making competition called ‘Resonance’. There are more than 40 schools participated from NCR region.

• Junior school –Teaching Art to 8 - 10 years.

• Senior School – Teaching Photography (Analogue and Digital), Art and Sculpture to 13 - 16 years                                                                      
  Achievement:

• Abilav Anand Won the 1st prize for “Go green” painting competition hosted by ‘Carrier’ Company and received the award from the great India cricketer Mr.Sachin Tendulkar.

 

Art Teacher at Amrita Vidyalayam, New Delhi, India. From March 2012 to April 2013.

• Junior school –Teaching Art to 6 - 10 years.

• Senior School – Teaching Photography Art and Sculpture to 13 - 16 years.

• Digitally Designing invitations and other relevant designs for different programs and events. Designed a complete school calendar with the set of students art work.  

 

Studio Art practitioner at Lalit Kala Akademi, Chennai, India. From October 2010 to February 2012.

• I was Practicing Painting and Sculpture at the prestigious studio of Lalit Kala Akademi along with the peers who are well-established contemporary artist from South India.

 

Art faculty (Guest) at National School of Design, Chennai, India. From June 2010 to December 2011

• Diploma –Teaching interior drawing and perspective for Interior designing diploma students.

• Bachelor Degree – Teaching Fashion art and illustration for B.Sc Fashion designing Students. Few are well-established designers now and started their own brands.

 

Art Teacher at Kennedy High The Global School, Hyderabad. From September 2008 to March 2009

• Junior school –Teaching Art to 8 - 10 years.

• Senior School – Teaching Art and Sculpture to 11 - 14 years.

• Designed and executed classroom paintings in most of class room walls.

 

Worked as a Final clean up artist at Dessin Works, Chennai, India. From January 2007 to June 2007.

• Done few animation film series for enormous clients. Worked in different projects as a clean up artist and a in-between artist. Experienced the complete pipeline of animation.
